You can make alot of pancakes in forty five years

This was the 45th annual Pancake Breakfast!  (French toast was added 10 years ago).

John Beck then president of the United Methodist Mens’ Club  suggested this might be a way to raise money for church projects including assistance for two Native American children on a reservation in western USA.  Most years the Saturday before Mother’s Day was designated.

In the 1970’s, riding chartered buses, students would arrive for the MP Band Competition at the high school.  Students and advisers had a hearty breakfast before the competition began!

Some years in the 1990’s the Restored  Rusty Relics would park on the Great Lawn as an added sweet treat.
