We have just arrived in 2018. What do you think about the New Year? Even though I cannot see the future, I can tell that we will see many changes because this New year will bring us many possibilities, potentials, and challenges. Some changes are forced upon us by life’s circumstances. Some we decide to undertake on our own. Either way, change is a sign of life, an indication of growth, an essential part of becoming fully human. What kinds of changes do you want to see in the new year of 2018? I want to see many changes in my life, to live a new life in Jesus Christ. I believe that our God who created this world wants us to live a new life in our Lord Jesus Christ. Paul, who experienced new life in Jesus says, “If anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!” (2 Corinthians 5:17) When we are faced with change and upheaval in our lives, let us respond to these situations by centering ourselves prayerfully in our Lord. Let us also be proactive in our lives. Let us live with determination and purpose, tapping into our God-given potential to live better lives in our Lord. There is new life, a great life in our Lord Jesus in the new year of 2018. How can we enjoy this new life that God has prepared for us? I believe we can live the bountiful life that God wants to give us by transforming our lives. Let us go boldly into the new year to live a great life by transforming our old lives. Heed the words of Paul: “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God — what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans 12:2)                             Love you all in Jesus,          KyuTae
