50 Days Psalm Reading Prayer (29) July 3, 2020

Psalm 29

¹ Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings,
    ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
² Ascribe to the Lord the glory of his name;
    worship the Lord in holy splendor.

³ The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
    the God of glory thunders,
    the Lord, over mighty waters.
⁴ The voice of the Lord is powerful;
    the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

⁵ The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
    the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon.
⁶ He makes Lebanon skip like a calf,
    and Sirion like a young wild ox.

⁷ The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire.
⁸ The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness;
    the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.

⁹ The voice of the Lord causes the oaks to whirl,
    and strips the forest bare;
    and in his temple all say, “Glory!”

¹⁰ The Lord sits enthroned over the flood;
    the Lord sits enthroned as king forever.
¹¹ May the Lord give strength to his people!
    May the Lord bless his people with peace!

In this Psalm 29, David praises God who is the ruler and Victorious King. “Worship the glorious God.  Our God is holy and powerful. All of His creation:   sky, sea, mountain, and wilderness. They praise God, His glory and power”

 “The heavens are telling  the glory of God.” (Psalm 19:1)

God is so powerful in his glory. He blesses His people. He provides them, Protection, victory, and peace. There is new hope in our Lord.

“How is your life today? “How is your soul?” No matter what trouble you may have.  let us remember this;

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”  (1 Corinthians 15:57)

Lord, you are God of power and glory. When we pray, Lord, release us from the suffering that we have now. Deliver us from worry and fears that oppress us now. Give us a new hope for your Kingdom Lord. So that we can cast away the power of darkness In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen

Receive a new strength and hope for our Lord!
