Baptism is a covenant (a contract), between God and a person, or a baby’s parents on behalf of the baby. God offers GRACE (without a price) and we offer our faith and love.
This past Sunday our congregation were witnesses to Colton Dennis Kendra’s Baptism.
During that time we “reaffirmed our rejection of sin and our commitment to Christ.” We spoke an oath that we would surround this child and his parents with love and forgiveness. We said, “we would pray for them that they may be true disciples who walk in the way that leads to life”.
Samantha and Christopher (Colton’s lucky parents) shared this special event in Colton’s life with us. One of God’s many blessings.
